PDF → grandMA3
Most run sheets arrive as a PDF. Upload it as it is: CueSetter reads the table, finds the columns for number, time and title, and gives you a grandMA3 macro that builds one named cue per item.
What it reads
Columns are found from the header row and where the text sits on the page. No need to copy anything into a spreadsheet first.
Items continue across page breaks. A header row repeated on every page, and the page headers above it, are skipped.
Exported from Word, Excel, Google Docs or a rundown tool: any PDF with text can be read. The title at the top becomes the sequence name.
A scan is an image with no text to read. Copy the text out of it (or run it through OCR) and paste it into CueSetter instead.
How it works
Drop the file into CueSetter, or open it from your phone or computer. It is read in your browser.
The columns found are marked. Pick another if one is wrong, then edit names and split a set list into sub-cues.
Unzip the macro to the root of a USB stick. In Show Creator, choose Macros and the stick, import it and run it once. The sequence is built with one named cue per item.
And on every format

Item 12 becomes cue 12 on the console. A set list splits into sub-cues (12.1, 12.2) in one click, and items without a number fit in between their neighbours.
Questions
grandMA3 imports macros as XML files, not PDFs. CueSetter reads the PDF and makes a grandMA3 macro: import it from a USB stick and run it once, and the sequence is built with one named cue per item.
The PDF is most likely scanned, which makes every page an image. Ask production for the original file (Word, Excel or an exported PDF), or copy the text out and paste it into CueSetter.
No. The file is read in your browser on your own computer and is never sent to us or any other server.
