What’s in the template
One row per item, with the columns sound, lighting, video and stage management all work from:
- # – the item number everyone calls on intercom
- Start – the clock time
- Duration – in minutes
- Title – what happens; a set list goes on its own lines, one song per line
- Notes – for sound, lighting, video and stage
The show’s name, date, venue, stage manager and version number go at the top. Seven example rows show how it is filled in; replace them with your show.
02
How to fill it in
- 1Keep one row per item, in running order.
- 2Give every item a number. If you add an item later, give it a number in between (12.5), so everyone’s numbers still match.
- 3Put a set list in the title cell, one song per line under the act’s name.
- 4Change the version number every time you send a new run sheet.
- 5Send it as it is, or export it as PDF.

From the template to grandMA3
Lighting operators can drop the file straight into CueSetter. Every row becomes a named cue in a grandMA3 sequence, the cue numbers follow the # column, and the songs in a set list can be split into sub-cues in one click.
